Arrival & Departure Information

We do not have a 24/7 front desk and check-in is possible with us until 8:00 pm. If you arrive later, we will charge extra for that. At least the rooms will be ready by 4 p.m.

Please email your arrival time to info@overhorn.nl so someone will be there to greet you in person. If we do not know your arrival time, there may be no one to let you in. We do not have a 24/7 front desk and schedule colleagues to receive you at your designated time.
Please leave your room or apartment by 10:30 am.

Breakfast

If you have booked a room and breakfast, it will be served in our cozy kitchen.
On weekdays, breakfast is served between 07:00 – 09:00. On weekends, you can have breakfast between 8 a.m.-09:30 a.m.
Do you have dietary requirements? Please let us know in advance and we will do our best to take this into account.
Breakfast must be reserved at least one day in advance. This can also be done at info@overhorn.nl
We rent the apartments -in principle- without breakfast. The cost for breakfast is €17.50 per person.

Dinner

Eating in the rooms is not allowed, as is consuming your own food in our kitchen. If you wish to cook or prepare your own breakfast reserve one of our apartments.

Adults only for a quiet stay

We have many business guests and people who come to us for rest. Because of this, it is not possible for small children (under 12 years old) to stay with us. Why? Read this blog.

Non-smoking accommodation

Our entire location is smoke-free. This applies both inside and outside on the grounds. It is also not allowed to light candles or incense in the rooms and apartments and on our grounds. Open fire and BBQ is also unfortunately not possible due to our thatched roof on the haystack.

Mooring by boat

You can moor your boat very nearby at a public spot on the Vecht. It is about 50 meters away from our Bed & Breakfast.

Parking

Safe and free parking, there is room for about 20 cars. The car is parked in the parking lot on our property which is closed by a large entrance gate.

Electric car?

We have two spots available in our parking lot to charge your car. The rates are lower than those of public fast chargers. You do need a fuel card.

Bring your own bikes

Of course, you can bring your own bikes. It would be nice if you would put them in the designated covered (not lockable) bike rack. The site is closed by a gate with access code, the bike is safe here.
Electricity is available for charging electric bikes but the number of points is limited. We therefore find it pleasing if you tell us in advance if you want to make use of this.

Dog and pets

We are extremely fond of animals and dogs in particular. We have a Ridge Back lady and a Shepherd male who roam freely in the yard. Unfortunately, to guard the peace for our guests, our dogs and the other animals in the yard (chickens and two kittens), it is not possible to bring your dog. We also kindly ask you to drive at walking pace (10km/hour) on our grounds.

Deposit and cancellation policy

Deposit: 10% to be paid at the time of reservation, or collected from credit card, this will finalize the reservation.
In case of cancellation, the deposit will not be returned but processed as an administrative fee.
