Welcome to the Overhorn!
Our monumental farmstead the Overhorn is located In the heart of the Netherlands. More precisely in the Gooi and Vecht region, just outside the lovely fortified town of Weesp. We rent out rooms and apartments, run a Bed and Breakfast and also have three characterful rooms for meetings or presentations.
The location is stunning! We are surrounded by beautiful nature reserves with lakes, forest and heath; the Naardermeer, Ankeveenseplas and Spiegelplas, the Spanderswoud and the Crailose heath. Ideal to explore from the Overhorn, on foot or by bike. The Zaanse Schans, Volendam, Haarlem or Utrecht are a short car ride away. A large number of concert stages and cultural attractions as the Singer Museum and Muiderslot are within 20 minutes driving time. In short, we are exactly in the right spot for a great stay, whatever you like to do. For recreation, sporty adventures and of course for shopping. The location is also ideal for business guests, not only to spend the night, because of the short travel distance to Amsterdam (RAI) and Schiphol Airport, but also to meet in one of our beautiful meeting rooms.
Meeting rooms
We are also the right place for a meeting or training! We have three meeting rooms. The Summer Room can accommodate 4 to about 10 people and the Office for 4 people our new room Echt aan de Vecht can accommodate up to 30 people. All with wonderful views of the beautiful nature with which we are surrounded. Of course, the rooms are equipped with all modern conveniences such as wifi, beamer & screen and HD television. We provide treats with coffee, a full buffet lunch and drinks when it fits into your program. As much homemade as possible and with organic produce from the immediate area. Free on-site parking, safe and out of sight.

Safe parking.
Our apartments are often booked by professionals. Mostly they are people with irregular working hours, who are away from home a lot. They greatly appreciate being able to take care of their own drinks. If they have to leave before dawn, they appreciate being able to prepare themselves - without bothering [...]
